The Quickbreads are a duo of septagenarian(cat years) felines that have shared a home with my girldfriend for the past 15+ years. The black one is name Waffle and the buttery one is named Biscuit, hence the name Quickbreads.

Waffle is most certainly deserving of his own page but as consolation I will describe hime first. He is very talkative and despite being a 15 pounder has the attittude and ego of a 700lb bengal tiger. That being said is one of the snugliest kitties I have ever met. He will jump right on your lap and demand that you pet him. If you stop , or even slow down he will turn back at you and stare daggers at you, even yell at you (see r/catswhoyell for an example, he would fit right in there). In his old age Waffle has inexplicably started growing a single white whisker, which he is more than a little sensitive about. If you see him, please don't mention it. P.S. Waffle has obliged me to inform you that he is #1 (and number 0, in case of zero-indexing).

Biscuit on the other hand is quite the contrast to his brother from a different mother. Stolid and derpy by disposition , when my girldfriend got him from the cat shelter the vet told her, "This one will be happy to just sit on the couch and watch TV with you." He is best known for his loud, motorcycle like purr, which betrays his presence to those within earshot and for his characteristic 'quack' which is a garbled and distorted meow that he unleashes when he wants a treat. During the past year Biscuit has become increasingly vociferous , taking after his brother's habit of yelling all the time.
